where your feet fall
there is a sect of humanity that many do not realize; there is a group of people who call each place they set their foot home, each person family, each day a miracle and each moment to be lived. there is a sect who will party late into the night, dancing wildly around bonfires and drinking moonshine from mason jars, twirling fire and singing as loud as their voices will carry, feeling their naked feet sink into the mud and not caring about their dirty hair and bodies as long as their heart and souls are flying free. there is a sect who can party for four days and still be respectful, there are those who, even when in a drunken stupor, remember to clean up their trash and care for their environment. there are those who love unconditionally and will do anything for one another, the most beautiful people you have ever seen. these people are the ones i have grown to love and know, the wanderers and nomads of the world, the gypsies and the outcasts, the weirdos and the seemingly normal. they see the world and want to be in it, they know the earth and have traveled as far as their legs can take them. they greet fear with love and life with passion. i do believe, my friends, that this is home.

Hey, sounds like you're having an awesome time! I really wanted to come for a few days (and I still do). But after asking where I used to work if they could use a part-time worker for a few weeks, I ended up working 73 hours my first week. So now it looks like i just won't have 3 or 4 days to give up :( But it sounds like you'll have an amazing time without me :) Keep rockin' it on the AT!
:D Ohhhhhhhhhh.... I loveeeeeee me some woods and I love me some fresh aire and I love me some DIRT and I love me some BECKA MCRANKIN! I went on some sweet bike rides this past week and I remembered how really alive I can feel sometimes. Do tell me when you'll be in even a near-ISH vicinity...:) I'll cross my fingers and just maybe get to share the trail with you for a sweet day or two! I will bring you any type of food you want just for the honor and privilege of your company. You are SUCH my inspiration. And you write like nobody's fool. MWA! ~A.Kniss
